Research Associate - IntraHealth International

The Research Associate is a Chapel-Hill based position providing technical support and backstopping for the senior technical officers in order to achieve programmatic and technical excellence. S/he ensures that the project senior technical advisors have the technical, programmatic, logistical and other inputs and resources needed to be successful and in compliance with donor requirements and IntraHealth policies. S/he assists technical staff in preparing reports, presentations and briefings for the project. Minimum qualifications include: a degree in international public health or related discipline; minimum five years professional public health experience with at least some experience working with USAID-funded projects. Mid-level experience in HIV/AIDS, RH/FP; demonstrated experience in successfully working in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups; excellent oral and written communication skills in English; strong writing, editing and computer based presentation skills. This position travels occasionally (5% time) and is based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina This position is with IntraHealth International in Chapel Hill, NC.
